Building LEGO Botanicals Woodland Mushrooms (11505) took me about two and a half hours, and it was one of the more enjoyable LEGO Botanicals builds I’ve done.

What kept the build interesting was the variety. Instead of repeating the same flower, each bag introduced new mushroom species, flowers, greenery, or structural details. It really felt like I was slowly creating a miniature woodland scene.

The only disappointment came after I finished. The build itself exceeded my expectations, but the unfinished back changed how I felt about displaying the finished model.

The iconic red and white fly agarics immediately become the focal point, while the surrounding greenery softens the landscape and makes everything feel more organic. This was the first point where I could really picture the finished display, and it got me excited to see the rest of the woodland come together.

LEGO did a great job capturing the look of these mushrooms. They’re slightly stylized, but still instantly recognizable.
